Flow Tech’s laboratory Service Support Programs are intended to ensure our customers that their Phoenix laboratory control system is providing a safe and energy efficient operating environment. OSHA (sec 1910.1450) requires that specific measures be taken to ensure laboratory ventilation equipment is operating properly.
Flow Tech’s solution for our customers to the OSHA requirement is our ‘Test, Inspection and Re-commissioning Program’. Our program can be tailored for Lab Air Flow Verification and /or Fume Hood Certification. The general activities of our program are as follows:
- A general system inspection for worn, failed or doubtful parts
- Certify fume hoods for proper face velocitites
- Check lab zones of proper pressurizations and ventilation rates
- Where applicable confirm proper temperature control
- Check system static pressures for accuracy
Upon completion of our system re-commissioning or certification we will provide detailed documentation of the status of the tested system or equipment and any recommended solutions to problem areas.
