Flowtoberfest Observance – Showing Appreciation for Flow Tech’s Supporters
Every year, we show our customers and supporters our appreciation by throwing a huge party in their honor. This event is known as Flowtoberfest, and is our take on the traditional German Oktoberfest celebration. Today we had planned on hosting the 7th Annual Flowtoberfest, but given the current world’s circumstance, we determined it was best to cancel this year’s event.

Although we cannot celebrate in person, we still wanted to show our appreciation for our Flowtoberfest regulars. We sent past guests, who have attended two or more Flowtoberfests, a token of gratitude by mail. Each package contained a thank you note, pen, mechanic gloves, hand sanitizer and mini Flowtoberfest stein. The mini stein can used as a shot glass, bud vase, pen holder or whatever their creative minds can think of. We hope each recipient enjoys their package!

Later today Flow Tech will host an employee Flowtoberfest drop-in to observe the day and celebrate our accomplishments over the past year. To get things started, we thought it would be fun to share some of our employees’ favorite Flowtoberfest memories.

Mike Davis, PE | Sales Engineer – “Wow, there are so many to choose from….maybe the stein holding competition, some of our customers getting wild, and of course, some really funny conversations at the end of the night.”

Nichole Petersen | Director of Marketing – “First off, I LOVE planning Flowtoberfest and consider October as ‘Flowtoberfest season.’ I’m so happy that Flow Tech created this event to bring people together for laughs and fun, while showing them our appreciation. My favorite activity is playing the role of Frau Petersen and regulating during the stein holding competition. I’m normally a nice person but not while I’m Frau Petersen!”

Kevin Wixom | Sales Engineer – “There is no better time of the year than Flowtoberfest! Flow Tech’s hard work pays off by getting to see our faithful customers enjoy a night of food, beer, gifts, and laughs. My favorite part of the night is seeing people’s reactions to my fashionable lederhosen.”

Evan Benoit | Sales Engineer – “My first Flowtoberfest at Thomas Hooker Brewery with the first-ever stein holding competition is my favorite Flowtoberfest memory.

Paul Beley | Service Manager – Having to look at the [Rich] Harper cutout in lederhosen for a year!!”

We look forward to showing our customers and industry friends a good time at next year’s Flowtoberfest. Save the date for 10/21/21!
