Mike Davis Honored by Hartford Business Journal – 40 Under Forty

For the last 27 years, Hartford Business Journal has selected 40 of the top up-and-coming young professionals who are in leadership positions. Each year they receive numerous submissions. This year they received over 150 nominations which were narrowed down to 40 deserving professionals!

We are proud to call one of these professionals our leader! Please join us in congratulating Flow Tech’s President, Michael (Mike) O. Davis, PE, on being selected as one of Hartford Business Journal’s 2023 40 Under Forty!!

Mike and the other 39 recipients were formally honored on September 28, 2023 at the Aqua Turf in Plantsville, CT. We encourage you to read Mike’s official 40 Under Forty Profile, however, we’d share some of the reasoning why the independent group of judges selected Mike as one of this year’s honorees.

Special Projects

Mike has contributed to a variety of Flow Tech’s special projects beyond the sales purview. One of which is Flow Tech’s Demo Lab. Mike led the charge by mentoring our 2 newest inside sales employees on project management as they oversaw the construction and completion of the facility. The Demo lab has been instrumental in Flow Tech’s success. We can host our customers and consulting engineers locally to provide education and training. Mike knew that we’d get more participants if we could accredit the presentation and worked to get the Demo Lab presentation PIE- approved for engineering and architecture. From its opening in March 2021 to date, we have hosted over 100 groups and Mike has presented to 90% of them.
