Motor Disconnect Detection Training ABB ACH850 VFD

In this ABB video training the motor disconnect detection feature will be discussed. Motor disconnect detection eliminates the need for an auxiliary contact and associated wiring for every remote mounted disconnect on motors driven by VFD’s. This could potentially save thousands of dollars in installation costs on a project. Viewers will be shown a fault when the motor is disconnected without the detection feature enabled. They will then be shown how to reset the drive and enable the disconnect detection feature.
